When a page or local media file is requested, hosting infrastructure processes connection data such as IP address, request time, requested address and browser information to deliver the content and protect the service. Technical logs are used for service operation and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliable and secure website operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Screenshots, videos, styles and scripts are served with the website. Videos start when you choose to play them. We use no embedded third-party players or advertising trackers. The feature explorer and image viewer work without analytics consent.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which explanations people read and how they use feature navigation, ordering and contact links. This helps us improve the website. Google processes page views, the selected feature, page language, timestamps, browser and device information, cookie identifiers and the referring website. We remove URL queries and fragments; external referrers are limited to the website origin. We do not send form input, payment details or software media to Analytics. A click on an order or contact link is measured as a click, not as a completed purchase or enquiry.

The Google tag loads only after you allow analytics. Without consent, or after withdrawal, we send no analytics requests to Google. After consent, Analytics uses first-party cookies with the hdrmaster_ga prefix to recognise a browser and its sessions. The configured lifetime is up to 180 days. The browser identifier cookie retains its original expiry on later visits. The separate session-state cookie can be updated during activity, which can move its expiry. Browsers may apply shorter limits. User-level and event-level Analytics data are configured for 14 months without resetting the user retention period on new activity. This setting does not limit standard aggregated reports.

You can change your choice at any time through Privacy settings at the bottom of every page. Choose Without analytics to withdraw consent; the site removes its Analytics cookies and stops collection. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You may also delete cookies in your browser.

The Analytics service provider for our European account is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google can also process data through group companies, including Google LLC in the United States. International processing is covered by Google’s data-processing terms and their transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. Connection to Google involves processing your IP address; Google states that Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses from EU, Switzerland or UK users.
